The deer-theme has been central for my interests.
Even when being a student I was determined to
investigate the beauty of nature. Destructed by the
commercialism and despised, the deer helped me to
find the language of poetry and introduced me to the
secrets of human experiences.
Deers of Christmas, harvest, melancholy and songs took
all part in my search for something new, transcendent,
unnamed. When I began to study different myths I
realised that the deer was an apt choice and symbol. To
search for the deer means to search for wisdom, which is
to be found in the world of deep secrets. In different
cultures there are many myths about the deer, all of
them resembling each other. |
